What do you advise concerning how to deal with a person who follows the engineer Adnan Al-Rifai, who denies many Hadiths from the Sunnah, and has become convinced by his words and is trying to convince his household of them?

We have no knowledge of this person, but if he denies the authentic hadiths of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then it is obligatory to be cautious of his programs and to warn Muslims against them. Muslims should not seek knowledge except from those known for it and who revere the Sunnah (definition). Some of the Salaf said: "Indeed, this knowledge is religion, so be careful from whom you take your religion." Advise your uncle and everyone who is deceived by this man, and clarify to them that the Ahl al-Sunnah are the reference in this matter. We must refer every discipline to its specialists. Just as a patient goes to a specialized doctor, likewise, religious knowledge and the hadith (definition) of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, must be taken from its people.
