Will I be rewarded if I intend to attend a remembrance gathering from an adjacent room?

The hadiths concerning gatherings of remembrance (majalis al-dhikr) include those who attend the gathering and join the ذكرin, as well as those who listen to the remembrance from afar. The latter will receive a reward, but not the same as the one who is present.
