Is it authentically reported from Ibn Taymiyyah or Ibn al-Qayyim that they held the belief in corporealism (tajseem) or the annihilation of Hellfire? And did Ibn Taymiyyah state that Allah has two eyes despite the absence of a text to that effect?

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah stated that Allah affirmed attributes for Himself that befit Him, as understood by the righteous predecessors, and they refrained from affirming what was not established. Regarding the two eyes, the Quran explicitly mentions "my eye" and "Our eyes" to denote the Divine Essence. Abu al-Hasan al-Ash'ari mentioned that the People of the Sunnah and Hadith affirm that Allah has two eyes, without kayf (modality). Ibn al-Qayyim elaborated on this in "Al-Sawa'iq Al-Mursalah," emphasizing that the apparent meaning of the Quran does not indicate a multiplicity of eyes or hands in a singular sense, and that the plural form like "Our eyes" comes for linguistic conformity, while the Sunnah confirms that Allah has two eyes, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, your Lord is not one-eyed."
