No one can see Allah with their eyes before death, according to the consensus of the Ahl al- wa al-Jama'ah (Sunni Muslims). Whoever claims otherwise is mistaken. However, it is possible to see Allah in a dream in various forms, depending on the faith of the beholder. A dream vision differs from a real vision in wakefulness. Some people in a state of wakefulness might mistakenly believe they have seen Allah with their eyes due to powerful spiritual experiences, but they are wrong in this.
