هل تعني الآية الكريمة "وما محمد إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل" أنه لم يسبق النبي محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم- رسل؟

The verse was revealed at Uhud when it was rumored that the Messenger had been killed, causing some people to be defeated because of it. Its meaning is that the Messenger, like other messengers who died before him, will also die like them, and he is an example for them in prophethood and in the permissibility of being killed.
