Is it permissible for more than one suitor to propose to a girl at the same time, and what are the supplications and Qur'anic verses that help facilitate marriage?

Everything that happens in the universe is by Allah’s decree. A person may wish for something to happen, believing it to be good, but the good might be in its delay. Allah Almighty said: "But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."

There is no harm in two individuals proposing simultaneously, as long as the matter is still in the consultation and consideration phase. Indeed, more than one suitor proposed to Fatimah bint Qays, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not object to that. There are no specific supplications for facilitating marriage, but general supplications for ease and relief, frequent remembrance of Allah, piety, and reliance upon Him are beneficial. Allah Almighty said: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out."
