How can one help a cousin addicted to alcohol, who knows of its prohibition, to rescue him from his sin?

The questioner is advised to supplicate frequently for the one whose guidance is desired, to study the texts of the two revelations (Quran and Sunnah) that warn against alcohol and clarify its worldly and otherworldly dangers, and to frequently remember the states of the people of the graves and the Hereafter.
