What is the ruling on following the imam in the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) when the final tashahhud has not been completed? And what is the ruling on one who completed the first tashahhud with stammering and delay behind the imam? And what is the criterion for catching the bowing (ruku') when in doubt? And what are the boundaries of the face in ablution (wudu'), and do they include the hair roots? And is bathing under the shower sufficient for the water to reach all parts of the body?

If the Imam performs the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw), then prostrate with him and complete the Tashahhud after the prostration. The first Tashahhud is a Sunnah, and omitting it does not invalidate the prayer. A rak'ah is counted if you join the Imam while he is bowing (rukūʿ) before he raises his head and you achieve calmness (ṭumaʾnīnah), even if you do not achieve calmness simultaneously with him. As for the sufficient limit of bowing, it is to bend so that you can touch your knees with your hands, and the bending should be closer to a moderate bow. The limit for washing the face in ablution (wuḍūʾ) is from the usual hairline, and it is not obligatory to wash the area where hair has receded. In the obligatory ritual bath (ghusl), water must reach all parts of the body, including the navel and armpits, and not merely standing under the shower. It is recommended to rub the body and check the roots of the hair and hidden areas.
