This is supported by what Al-Tabari narrated from Qatadah and Abdullah regarding the interpretation of the verse: "On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right," that the light of the believers will be commensurate with their deeds. Among them, some whose light shines for distant stretches, and some whose light illuminates only the space of their feet.
