Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) married several women after the death of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), including: Umm al-Banin bint al-Kilabiyyah, Layla bint Mas'ud al-Nahshaliyyah, Asma bint Umays al-Khath'amiyyah, Umamah bint Abi al-'As, Umm Sa'id bint Urwah ibn Mas'ud al-Thaqafiyyah, and Mukhabbiah bint Imri' al-Qays al-Kilabiyyah. He also had concubines, namely al-Sahbaa' bint Rabi'ah al-Taghlibiyyah and Khawlah bint Ja'far al-Hanafiyyah, who bore him Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah. History books have documented these wives.
