What is the legal ruling regarding a wife who has not been consummated with, and her father and mother, for rejecting the husband without excuses, and is the husband sinful for accepting khulʿ if they insist on it?

It is not permissible for a wife to seek divorce (Talaq) or annulment (Khul') without a legitimate Shar'i reason, and her parents should not assist her in doing so. Whoever does this is deprived of the scent of Paradise, and those who seek annulment (Khul') are hypocrites. However, if there is a legitimate reason, such as the husband's injustice or her inability to fulfill his rights, then there is no blame on her or her parents for assisting her. Your acceptance of the Khul' is permissible, and it is commendable if your wife detests you, and Allah may compensate you with someone better than her. Rely on Allah, for He is sufficient for you.
