Is it permissible to inform the Imam about a man secluding himself with a girl during the engagement period and reaching the brink of zina (fornication), or is it better to conceal what Allah has concealed?

The suitor is a stranger to his fiancée until the marriage contract is concluded. Therefore, it is not permissible for him to be in seclusion with her, touch her, or speak to her without a need. What occurred in terms of seclusion and kissing is a transgression of the limits set by Allah, and repentance is obligatory by abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, while also maintaining discretion. So, do not inform the man about what happened between you. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever commits any of these abominations should conceal himself with Allah's concealment." Informing him might lead to discord between the parents and the tearing of the veil of concealment.
