What should one do who suffers from excessive flatulence before, during, and after prayer, and finds it difficult to maintain wudu for a long time?
We recommend ignoring whispers (waswasa) and not paying attention to them. If you perform ablution (wudu) and then doubt whether wind has exited, remain in a state of purity until you are certain of its exit, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "If one of you feels something in his stomach and is unsure whether something has exited or not, he should not leave the mosque until he hears a sound or finds a smell."
However, if wind exits continuously such that you cannot find time for purity (tahara) and prayer (salat), then you are afflicted with chronic flatulence (sils al-rih). In this case, you must perform ablution for the time of each prayer, and your prayer is valid, and what exits from you does not affect it.
