How does the world of devils operate, and does a person's devil fall ill with his illness? Is there a difference among devils? How do devils procreate to ensure a devil for every newborn? Does the world of devils grieve over the death of the one it accompanied?

Every human being has an accompanying devil, as stated in the noble Hadith: "There is no one among you but has had his companion (Qarin) from among the jinn appointed to him," except for the Prophet (ﷺ), whose Qarin embraced Islam and thus only commanded him to do good.

Investigating the states of devils, their procreation, and their sorrow is fruitless. Instead, one should busy oneself with what leads to salvation from the evil of Satan and with understanding his entry points and means of temptation.
