Who are the inheritors of my money and real estate, and what is the share of each inheritor among them?
Adoption is Islamically forbidden, and none of the rulings of sonship, such as mahramiyya (prohibition of marriage) or inheritance, apply to it. Therefore, an adopted daughter does not inherit from the one who adopted her due to the absence of any cause for inheritance. However, it is permissible to bequeath to her within the limit of one-third (of the estate). If the deceased passed away leaving two brothers and five sisters, whether full siblings or paternal siblings only, and left no other heirs, then their entire estate belongs to them, with the male receiving the share of two females. If the deceased left a wife with them, she inherits one-fourth, and the remainder goes to them.
