What is the recompense for one who caused the imprisonment of a man and three of his sons through falsehood and slander, and what must she do to repent?

Allah has forbidden injustice and threatened the unjust with severe punishment. He has also forbidden false testimony. A Muslim must repent to Allah and strive to remove injustice from the oppressed and seek their absolution, either by compensating them or asking for their forgiveness. For the bankrupt on the Day of Judgment is he who comes with great good deeds, but distributes them to those whom he wronged. If his good deeds are exhausted, he then takes from their sins, which are cast upon him, and then he is cast into the Fire.
