Does masturbation affect the hymen and impede marriage?

You must perform sincere repentance (Tawbah Nasuh), increase in seeking forgiveness (Istighfar), and engage in righteous deeds. You must also conceal yourself with Allah's concealment and not inform anyone of what you have done. If your husband discovers the absence of the hymen, do not tell him what you were doing. Assure him that you did not commit the abomination of fornication (zina), and explain to him that the hymen can be lost due to other reasons, such as a strong jump, riding on something sharp, or the repeated forceful discharge of menstruation.
