Is it permissible to post verses from the Holy Quran on "Facebook" and interact with them by liking, while feeling that this might not be permissible?

There is no objection to writing verses from the Holy Quran on Facebook or other platforms, provided that there is no disrespect shown towards them. The writer should ideally receive a reward similar to that of one who reads them and is affected by them. The intention when writing them must be solely for Allah Almighty, and one should not pay attention to the number of likes, unless the intention is to encourage others to ponder the Quran, in accordance with His (Allah's) saying: "A Book We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember."
