What is the ruling regarding a man, 67 years of age, who frequently recites the Quran, yet attempted to kiss his daughter with lust, and has since apologized to her, though she now despises him and responds to him harshly?

The father's action in this regard is contrary to both Islamic law and natural inclination. It is not permissible to accuse him without certainty. If his intention for lust and harassment is proven, then the daughter should advise him gently and remind him of Allah. She should avoid private seclusion with him and anything that might incite him, accompany him with kindness, refrain from harming him in word or deed, and beware of being undutiful.
