Is it advisable to pursue university education through distance learning while working at the age of 23, after a four-year hiatus, taking into consideration the desire to change from the current work with one's father, and the possibility of freelancing or working for another entity?

The questioner is advised to combine completing university studies with a suitable job to secure the costs of marriage, because marriage protects a young man from temptations, in accordance with the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty. And whoever is not able to do so, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him."

As for boredom with working with his father, he is first advised to continue working with him and ask for a change in the nature of the work to remove the boredom. If he wishes to move to work with someone else, there is no harm in that as long as he is mature, but this must be done in a way that does not displease his father, while observing piety towards him, obeying him, and seeking his expertise.
