Is it permissible to go perform Umrah while there is estrangement and dispute between a person and his friend due to the friend's failure to fulfill a certain commitment?

It is forbidden for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three nights. The best of them is the one who initiates reconciliation. If there is a dispute, the solution is through the mediation of good people to mend relations and restore rights. If one party is an oppressor, the rightful party has the choice between pardoning or deferring judgment to the Day of Judgment. However, severing ties is not permissible under any circumstances for more than three nights. The wronged party should strive to resolve the dispute before performing Umrah, because forsaking a Muslim may prevent the acceptance of deeds and forgiveness, and the best of two disputing parties is the one who initiates peace.
