Is it permissible to sell shoes made from pigskin, and what is the legal evidence for that?

All skins of carrion become pure by tanning, as was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the hide is tanned, it becomes pure," and in another narration: "Any hide that is tanned becomes pure." Therefore, it is permissible to utilize the skins of carrion after tanning them, and to buy and sell them.
