The answer

Whoever donates for a fasting person's iftar in Ramadan through an organization or an agent, or gives food to a poor person to break their fast with in Ramadan, has attained the reward of providing iftar for a fasting person. This means they will have a reward similar to that of the fasting person, without diminishing the fasting person's reward in any way, as stated in the noble Hadith. Charity in Ramadan can take three forms: it is given out in Ramadan, or before it with the condition that it is used in Ramadan, or if the fasting person breaks their fast with it in Ramadan, even if this condition was not stipulated.
