What are the ranks of the people of Paradise and their deeds, and what are the deeds that lead to the highest level of Paradise (Firdaws al-A'la)?
The ranks of the foremost (al-sabiqun al-muqarrabun) in Paradise are higher than the ranks of the righteous companions of the right hand (ashab al-), according to their faith and piety. Ibn al-Qayyim, in "Tariq al-Hijratayn," detailed the recompense of the foremost from Surat Fatir and the recompense of the righteous from Surat al-Insan, clarifying the differing levels of recompense in Paradise. Shaykh al-Islam mentioned that Paradise has varying degrees with significant differences, and that the people of the Hereafter will differ in rank there more than people differ in the worldly life. The sacred texts confirm this difference in ranks among believers based on their deeds and faith.
