Is abandoning work in a usurious bank—which results in the unavailability of an alternative or savings—considered an injustice to one's wife and son and a severing of their provision?

It is obligatory to abandon work in usurious banks because usury is one of the gravest major sins. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, its scribe, and its two witnesses. Leaving this work is not an injustice to one's dependents; rather, remaining in it is the injustice. This work must be abandoned, except in a case of extreme necessity, which ceases when the necessity ceases. Whoever fears Allah and relies upon Him, He will provide for them a good provision from where they do not expect.
