What is the ruling of the Sharia on a man who deflowers a woman who is not lawful to him, then marries another?

The man and the woman committed a great sin by engaging in a sinful relationship that culminated in adultery, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "Do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing." The woman must sincerely repent to Allah by feeling remorse and resolving never to return to such a sin, and by increasing her prayers for forgiveness and acts of obedience.
