Is it permissible for a general practitioner to charge the fee of a specialist when working in their place at their clinic?

If the patient agrees to be examined by a general practitioner rather than a specialist after being informed of this, then there is no sin upon the doctor in taking the agreed-upon fee, because there is no deceit or deception in that, and what matters is what the two parties have mutually agreed upon. The general practitioner must fear Allah and not diagnose an illness about which he is ignorant. Rather, he must limit himself to the extent of his knowledge and experience. If he exceeds that and causes harm to the patient, he shall be held liable.
