A wealthy wife is not obligated to spend on her husband or her household, as financial support is a compulsory right incumbent upon the husband. If the wife spends willingly, it is a good deed and an act of kindness, especially if the husband is of limited means. However, if the husband's relationship with another woman is forbidden, it is impermissible to remain silent about it, and everything that deters and restrains him from this act must be done.
