Is it permissible to wear an "isdal" (a loose, modest garment) that draws attention and causes admiration, which might lead to "fitna" (temptation or discord), even if it does not inherently contain adornment?

The attire and hijab of a woman are not restricted to a specific color or cut. Rather, they must not incite lust or fitna (temptation/strife). If your clothing attracts attention and leads to fitna due to its color or style, you must wear something else. There is no obedience to anyone who commands you to wear something that causes fitna, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator." It is not permissible to go out to the mosque in clothing that incites fitna, because the reason for prohibiting it is the arousal of lust, such as beautiful clothing, luxurious adornment, and mixing with men. It is better for a woman to pray in her home, where she is more covered and further from men. If she wishes to pray in the mosque, there is no harm, provided she observes the Islamic conditions. It must be known that a suitor is a stranger until the legal marriage contract is concluded.
