Providing independent housing for the wife is one of her rights upon her husband if he is able. She also has the right to independent housing during long holidays if the husband is able. If the husband is able to provide independent housing, even a furnished apartment, he is not permitted to refuse, and this should be requested from him gently. The husband's eagerness to maintain ties with his family is commendable, but it should not lead to harm to the wife. However, if he is not able, the wife must be patient with residing in his family's home during the holiday.
