What should a wife do with her husband who was a prisoner and only has intercourse with her when he desires, yet refuses to divorce her?

A husband must treat his wife well, as Allah Almighty says: "And live with them honorably," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family." If the wife is harmed, she has the right to seek a divorce. However, it is advisable to be patient, offer sincere advice, seek help from wise family members, and supplicate to Allah for the improvement of the situation.
