What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Increase your prayers upon me, for your prayers upon me are a forgiveness for your sins"?

The hadith: "Increase your prayers upon me, for your prayers upon me are a forgiveness for your sins, and ask for me the Wasilah (a high station), for my Wasilah with my Lord is an intercession for you," its chain of narration to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is not authentic and is very weak. However, the virtue of praying upon the Prophet for the forgiveness of sins is established by the hadith of Ubayy ibn Ka'b, may Allah be pleased with him, where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Then your worries will be sufficient for you, and your sins will be forgiven," to one who dedicated all his supplications to praying upon him. It is also established by the hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says upon hearing the call to prayer: 'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi ad-da'watit-tammah, was-salatil-qa'imah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wab'athhu maqaman mahmudan alladhi wa'adtah' (O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad the Wasilah and the superiority, and raise him to the praised station which You have promised him), my intercession will be made lawful for him on the Day of Resurrection."
