Is the repeated affliction by unusual diseases a sign of the evil eye, and how can one identify and treat it?

Illnesses are calamities that afflict humans and have causes, among them: sins. They may also be for expiation of sins, elevation of ranks, and purification of believers. They may also be due to the injustice of some human beings against others, such as the evil eye and envy. In all cases, one must be patient, have good reliance on Allah, frequently supplicate and remember Allah, recite the Quran, seek medicine, and combine treatment with Ruqyah Shariah and modern medicine.
