Is it permissible in a single contract to combine the clauses of lease and purchase?

It is not permissible to have two clauses in a contract, one stipulating purchase and the other rental, for the same item at the same time; because they are contradictory contracts. Sale necessitates the transfer of the item with its usufruct to the buyer, while lease necessitates the transfer of only the usufruct of the item to the lessee, which makes the contract unstable on either one of them.
