Is it permissible for a divorced woman to study nursing and undertake practical training in a hospital or nursing home, knowing that the work may require cleaning men?

It is not permissible for a woman to undertake work that exposes her to khalwa (private seclusion) with men, or to touching them, or to seeing their awrah (private parts). Nor is it permissible for her to pursue studies that necessitate cleaning a man's body, except in cases of extreme necessity, and provided there is no man available to perform this task, and there is a genuine need for it. If she finds work that is free from religious violations, there is no harm in her accepting it, while maintaining the Shar'i (Islamic legal) hijab. And whoever fears Allah and relies upon Him, He will suffice him.
