What is the supplication that the owner of a lost item should recite?

The traditional supplication for returning a lost item, reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is that he used to say: "O Allah, You who returns lost things and guides from misguidance, You guide from error, return to me my lost item by Your might and Your authority. For it is from Your bounty and Your grace." It is also narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he said: "O Guide of the astray, and Returner of the lost, return to me my lost item by Your might and Your authority, for it is from Your bounty and Your grace." This supplication should be preceded by ablution and two units of prayer.
