Will the repentance of one who intentionally forgets his sins be accepted, so that the condition of specifying them is waived and he can repent with a general repentance? And what is his punishment if he is punished with the opposite of his intention? And will the punishment for the opposite of the intention be dropped if the deceiver repents and adopts another opinion that permits what he sought to gain through deception?

Forgetfulness does not occur intentionally; rather, one can overlook a sin. Repentance is valid for sins generally, without mentioning their details. This is known as general repentance, which includes all sins, even forgotten ones, and fulfills the condition of remorse, because general remorse for every forbidden act is sufficient. However, if the sin requires restitution, then one must strive to return what was wrongfully taken.
