You have the right to demand the return of your money from the person you paid, as he failed to fulfill his commitment. It is not permissible for him to procrastinate or threaten. If he does not return your right in this world, he will pay it back on the Day of Judgment in terms of good deeds and bad deeds, as stated in the : "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor or anything else, let him seek his forgiveness today before there will be no Dinar or Dirham. If he has good deeds, some of them will be taken proportionate to his injustice, and if he has no good deeds, some of the bad deeds of his companion will be taken and burdened upon him." You are also permitted to supplicate against him in your prayer for the injustice he has done to you.
