Al-Manhoor is the Companion Kulthum ibn Al-Husayn ibn Khalaf ibn Ubayd, Abu Ruhm Al-Ghifari. He embraced Islam after the Prophet's arrival in Medina and witnessed Uhud. He was among those who pledged allegiance under the tree. He was named Al-Manhoor because he was struck by an arrow in his throat on the Day of Uhud, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spat on it.
