What is the ruling on al-Zuhri's mursal with details?

The Mursal Hadith is what the Tabi'i (successor) attributed directly to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and this is a well-known statement among scholars. Scholars have differed regarding its admissibility as a proof; some accepted it, while others rejected it due to ignorance of the omitted narrator. Some made a distinction, accepting the Mursal narrations of the senior Tabi'in but not others. As for the Mursal narrations of Imam al-Zuhri, they are considered among the weakest Mursal narrations for several reasons: often he omits two narrators, making the hadith Mu'dal (perplexing); he narrates from Sulayman ibn Arqam, who is severely weak; and because he was a Hafiz (memorizer of hadith) capable of naming those from whom he narrated, his failure to name them suggests weakness in the omitted narrator. Many scholars have agreed on the weakness of his Mursal narrations.
