What is the ruling on teachers paying monthly sums of money requested by principals for school-related purposes, knowing that these amounts are not obligatory by the education administration, and that failure to pay leads to mistreatment, increased work burdens, or a decrease in performance appraisal scores?

Every official must safeguard rights, remove injustices, and fulfill trusts in all that falls under their administration. They should treat employees in a way that pleases Allah, neither giving them free rein nor burdening them with what is difficult for them. What female managers do by obligating employees to pay monthly sums without any right is oppression and consumption of people's wealth unlawfully, and it is Islamically forbidden. Employees must advise the managers and refrain from paying. If there is no response, the matter must be escalated to the authorities, and there should be no fear of the managers' threats. Also, female employees who pay money hoping for benefits should know that this is forbidden bribery.
