"We have previously clarified the Shariah guidelines for the permissibility of working in the field of sports, and that a Muslim should refrain from earning a living through it because it is considered a lowly earning, as evidenced by the : 'The earning of a cupper is vile.' Nevertheless, practicing sports in accordance with Shariah guidelines is beneficial and does not contradict the objectives of Islamic legislation."
