Is it out of God's mercy that one is not held accountable for what one sees in a dream, even though it is something beyond human control?

Allah's mercy towards His servants is manifested in not holding them accountable for mistakes, forgetfulness, coercion, or what they cannot bear. He also lifts the obligation from the sleeping person and does not hold them accountable for what they see in their sleep, which they cannot دفع (ward off/prevent). The majority ofصوليين (fundamentalist scholars) have affirmed that burdening with what is unbearable is not found in Sharia, due to His perfect mercy, even though it is permissible for Allah in terms of creation (تكوينيًا).
