"The mother gets one-sixth as a fard (obligatory share), the sisters get two-thirds, and the remainder, which is one-sixth, goes to the four paternal uncles, divided equally among them. This is based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Give the Fara'id (obligatory shares) to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male heir.' As for the paternal aunt, she gets nothing. The matter must be referred to the courts, as there might be other heirs, bequests, or debts."
