What is the ruling on distributing inherited money and real estate if one of the heirs is Muslim and the other died as a disbeliever?

If the deceased was a Muslim, then a disbeliever does not inherit anything from him, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim." Note that the matter of inheritances is serious and complex, and it is not sufficient to rely on a mere fatwa (definition); rather, it must be referred to the Sharia (definition) courts for investigation, as there may be wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
