What is the meaning of (Al-Tahiyyat, Al-Salawat, and Al-Tayyibat), and the meaning of (O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad), and what is the meaning of the word (Al-Salah)?

The meanings of the words in the Tashahhud and the Salawat upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, are:

- Al-Tahiyyat (All compliments/greetings): Peace or endurance/permanence. - Al-Salawat (All prayers): It was said to mean the five obligatory prayers, or all obligatory and supererogatory acts of worship, or all acts of worship, or supplications. - Al-Tayyibat (All good things): What is good from speech, or remembrance of Allah, or righteous sayings like supplication and praise, or righteous deeds. - Al-Salamu ‘alayka ayyuha al-Nabiyy (Peace be upon you, O Prophet): You are safe from adversities. - Rahmatullah (The mercy of Allah): His beneficence. - Barakatuhu (His blessings): His increase of all good. - Al-Salamu ‘alayna (Peace be upon us): A supplication for oneself. - ‘Ibadullah al-Salihin (The righteous servants of Allah): Those who fulfill what is due upon them from the rights of Allah and the rights of His servants. - Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger): An affirmation that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is a servant and a Messenger. - Allahumma (O Allah): O Allah. - Salatullah ‘ala Nabiyyihi (Allah’s prayer upon His Prophet): His praise for him in the presence of His angels. - Al Muhammad (The family of Muhammad): His family. - Kama sallayta ‘ala Ali Ibrahim (As You invoked blessings upon the family of Abraham): Like Your praise for the family of Abraham. - Barik (Bless): Increase in goodness. - Hamid (Praised): Praiseworthy. - Majid (Glorious): From "Majd," which is a description of one who is complete in honor. - Al-Salah (The prayer): Its meaning has been provided earlier.
