Are Tai Chi and cosmic energy permissible or forbidden, and what is the ruling on Neuro-Linguistic Programming?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
It has been previously stated that it is not permissible to use cosmic energy for healing due to its pagan origin, and neuro-linguistic programming has also been discussed before. As for "Tai Chi," it is a sport that relies on concentration, relaxation, and slow movements with deep breathing to treat the nervous system and some musculoskeletal disorders. There is no harm in practicing it if it does not involve pagan rituals or false chants, especially since its origin is the pagan Chinese culture.
