What was the impact of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) call on the Arabian Peninsula?

To illustrate the impact of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Arabian Peninsula, it is necessary to understand its condition before the advent of his mission. It was in a state of decline in all aspects, except for some individual moral traits. Religiously, they were backward and idolatrous. Politically, tribal anarchy prevailed. Socially, ignorance and the oppression of women were widespread. Morally, raids, injustice, usury, and fornication were rampant.

The call of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came as a light dispelling this darkness. It elevated minds and morals, united the disparate, and transformed them from shepherds into leaders, as confirmed by His Almighty's saying: "Alif, Lam, Ra. A Book which We have sent down to you that you might bring mankind out of darkness into the light by permission of their Lord – to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy" (Ibrahim: 1). Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, summarized this impact by saying: "We were the most humiliated nation, then Allah honored us through Islam."
