ما هو الابتلاء في الدين؟

Tribulation in religion is a test and an examination of what a servant is exposed to in terms of temptations, both good and evil, to turn him away from his religion. It is one of Allah's ways to test His servants, to distinguish the truthful believer from the lying hypocrite, as He Almighty said: "Do people think that they will be left alone because they say, 'We believe,' and will not be tested?" And as it was mentioned in the Hadith about the patience of those who came before us in enduring severe tribulations without abandoning their religion.
