It is permissible for a woman to uncover her face in front of her husband's paternal or maternal grandfather, based on the Almighty's saying: (And not expose their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands' fathers). The term "husbands' fathers" includes grandfathers from all sides.
